The story so far …  

Headquartered in Great Yarmouth, with two further UK-based facilities and overseas operations developing in Houston, Dubai and Perth, Stowen Group has developed a strong reputation in the offshore wind turbine inspection and maintenance market and also has a thriving oilfield services business.

We have acted as trusted advisors to the Group since its formation in 2014. We have:

• Assisted in the initial buy-out of a co-founder.
• Implemented an EMI share option scheme designed to support the growth of the business and allow future equity participation by the senior management team.
• Represented the company in a successful sale process to Private Equity which was originated and led by members of our team.
• Provided ongoing tax and strategic advice in relation to the growth opportunities for the business.
• Acted for the owners in buying back the Group from its Private Equity investor following a change in strategy.
• Provided statutory accounting and compliance tax services and more recently have worked closely with Group auditors to streamline the year end process.
•  Provided ongoing remuneration planning for the founder shareholders and more recently represented the management team in a “buy-back” of the business from its private-equity owners.

Through all of this, we have been at hand to attend regular management meetings and to provide one to one advice to the owners as they have navigated their way through their own multi-faceted business journey in establishing a very impressive business over the 10 years of our relationship.
